Hello everyone~ <3
A lot has happened since my last journal so I thought it was about time for an update
I have finished school and graduated. I passed all of subjects and tried my best so I am happy. I now work at ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited) as a Bank Teller. I am very proud of getting the job because I had to have two interviews, one with the employment recruitment agency (MEGT) and one with the District Manager of ANZ. There were a number of applicants as well but they must have liked me because I recieved a call the following week from the MEGT representative saying I got the job! I was so happy I nearly cried :'D I love my job and even though it has it's negatives (abusive customers) it has twice as many positives (lovely and kind customers, higher interest rates on my bank accounts, discounts on products ect). When my contract finishes I will gain a Certificate IV in Financial Services which will help me later on in life in case I want to pursue my career at ANZ as a Personal Banker or move on from ANZ and become an accountant. The possibilities are endless
My family and I have bought two new baby budgies and four new fishies. One budgie is called 'Kazooie' (she is the girl) and the other is called 'CJ' (he is the boy). Unfortunately 'Tooie' one of our four new fish passed away because of a condition called 'fin rot' so we bought a new fish called 'Iceberg'. Rest in peace Tooie <3 The other fish 'Greg Norman', 'Tiger' and 'Snowy' all welcomed 'Iceberg' to the pack so that was good to see
Our budgies and fish are happy and healthy at the moment so we hope to keep it that way.
At the moment my main priority is to save up money to buy a house later on in life and for car registration. I have payed off my car insurance so I'm glad that is out of the way but I still have bills to pay off. Luckily I live with my parents so I don't have to pay rent however I still contribute money to help pay for our food and electricity bills. I love having a job because it means I work hard and get paid a good amount of money. I can pay for my bills, put some money away for savings and still have a little left over for myself. Having a job and earning money has sure given me a lot of confidence and independence
An exciting thing happened after I had finished school. My photography was chosen and entered into the Saatchi International Art Prizes For School Children up to age 18! I was so happy because I had worked really hard on the project during school and it really payed off :'D My project was to explore the delusions that are experienced by people suffering from schizophrenia. Here is the photograph they chose:

I'm going to leave my journal here because otherwise I will be blabbing on for ages but thank you for reading everyone <3
