Rest In Peace Leo

On wednesday we had to put our budgie Leo to sleep. He had a growth on his wing and unfortunately it continued to spread to other parts of his body. He was given antibiotics and tick repellent for a couple of weeks but he couldn't fight it off. Leo continued to get worse and worse and even started to pick at the growth because it was really irritating him. Eventually he started to eat and drink less so mum and I took him to the vet. The vet told us Leo had lost a lot of weight around the stomach and he wasn't going to get any better. We couldn't let him continue to live and suffer so we put him to sleep. We laid him to rest in our garden near our last dog Sam. I hope you had a good life with us Leo and I wish you the best in heaven. I love you
